Samosa

Samosa Daging

Bahan-bahan ( 5 orang )

Kulit popia saiz besar secukupnya
Minyak untuk menggoreng

INTI

Sediakan Inti:
Panaskan minyak dan tumis bawang dan daun kari sehingga wangi
Masukkan rempah kari biar sehingga garing
Masukkan daging. Kacau sehingga daging tak berketul.
Kemudian masukkan kentang, garam, gula dan sedikit air
Masak sehingga kering dan kentang empuk. Padamkan api. *** Kentang kalau nak cepat empuk bolehlah direbus dulu - 2/3 masak.
Ambik kulit popia. Potong 3. ( 1 keping kulit popia akan jadi 3 keping)
Ambik satu keping kecil kulit popia. Masukkan inti. Lipat-lipatkan biar jadi bentuk segitiga. Pada hujungnya boleh lekatkan dengan air atau telur putih. Buat sampai habis
Goreng dalam minyak penuh dengan api sederhana panas


English Version

Vegetable Samosa Filling

1 Potato finely diced (5 to 10 mill cubes)
1 carrot finely diced - as above
2 cloves of crushed garlic.
1 Onion finely chopped
1 Cup of frozen peas
1 tblspn vegetable oil
2 tspn curry powder or your own spices according to taste
Salt, Pepper to taste.
100ml of vegetable stock.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion and garlic, mix in the spices and fry until soft. Add the vegetables, seasoning and stir well until coated. Add the stock, cover and simmer for 30 minutes until cooked.

Lamb Samosa Filling

500g minced lamb
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic crushed
1teaspon curry powder
½ easpon chilli powder
1 teasmon ground tumeric
½ teaspon gorund roasted cumin seeds
1 fresh chilli finaly diced
1 tspn chopped mint or corriander
½ tspn fresh grated ginger
salt and ground pepper to taste
juice of half a lemon

Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion and garlic mix in the spices and seasoning and fry until soft. Add the mince, stirring until cooked. Remove from heat and stir in the mint and lemon juice.

Beef Samosa Filling

500g minced beef
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
Chilli to taste
1 tspn ground Tumeric
1 tspn ground Corriander
2 tspn fresh Ginger
50 ml chopped mint
Juice of 1 lemon
2tblspn vegetable oil
Salt, pepper to taste
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion and garlic mix in the spices and seasoning and fry until soft. Add the mince, stirring until cooked. Remove from heat and stir in the mint and lemon juice.

Chicken Samosa Filling

500g minced Chicken
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic crushed
1teaspon curry powder
